mk1_salami
I have set the UK as the default shop country, and imported the localisation pack, but no counties appear in the states screen. I can see states in the USA and Italy but not the UK. Can anyone help?

ibndawood
Hi Salami, You are right the UK localization pack does not contain its counties. However you can add them manually via Localization->States
pomf
Attached is an updated xml localization file for the UK including the (very long) list of ISO UK/GB Counties Etc. I also updated the units to make to reflect current norms (kg, L, cm, m, mile). I replaced the old gb.xml in the localization directory with this version. However when I import this the states (and other changes) are not updated. Any ideas? gb.xml Edited December 4, 2013 by pomf (see edit history)
ibndawood
Hi pomf, I did try installing your gb.xml and it worked for me. It did import all the states given in the xml. But this is how it went : * I had already installed UK package, I tried installed again with your gb.xml. The localization was imported but no states. This was in v1.5.4 * I had another version 1.5.6 where I had not installed UK package. And there was an option to select to download local xml instead of download from website. I disabled it and imported. * I also made a small modification to the xml file like this for all states: <state name="Buckinghamshire" iso_code="BKM" country="GB" zone="Europe" tax_behavior="0" /> * It worked
pomf
Thanks, I should have said that I was doing it on PrestaShop™ 1.5.4.1 I have not tested the file & so the Tax setup may be incorrect I'll upgrade to 1.5.6.1 Ta, Neil
