letiferus
Are you thinking about using prestashop for your e-commerce solution? Here's some advice. DON'T DO IT. I have never used a more buggy piece of software in my entire 13 years of working on the web. I'm an experienced web user. I can program in PHP and I'm even familiar with the template system prestashop uses. But I find myself on the forum searching for solutions to things that every day use of the system should JUST WORK . But hardly anyone responds to help requests on the forum and when they do, they're mostly users looking for a fix to the same problem. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere. I know I am. Dh42
What bugs did you run into?
Dh42
I looked at your post history and went back and answered your questions. None of them were bugs, they were all user / server issues.
letiferus
I'm glad you think so but I disagree. This review has been posted on my personal blog too.
Dh42
Well which one do you think was an actual bug? The server returning the ajax slow? Your UPS account being set up wrong? Or Prestashop's inability to get a shipping price that is based on the delivery location, before someone actually enters a delivery location? nienha
For me prestashop has a steep learning curve but I believe if you just keep on pushing and dont' give up the reward will be great! Follow the K.I.S.S. principle, and remember that Google is your best friend
vekia
those problems are related to server side definitely. take a look on other ps stores, for example: http://dirtyshirty.com/ (and many other) everything works well there, fast and ... just good believe me, windows 7 will not work on 166mhz MMX with 16mb ram
