htaccess page redirect - help

I want to show my categories on my homepage, i have a module that allow me to do that but it is using wicked url not the friendly one. So i have to do this redirect couple a times, so my problems is how should i do this and how should me htaccess file be. I am little confused os where I should put the redirect and how the redirect rules should be. 

 

an example could be: 

http:q-skins.dk/category.php?id_category=99 

 

which should be redirect to: 

 

http://q-skins.dk/iphone-4-covers

 

can and will someone please show me an example of a htaccess with redirect or explain me how to do the redirect.

I don't see the non-friendly url in the category navigation on your home page, where should I look for this exactly?

On the homepage there should be a featured categories at the bottom of the site, If you chose the category there will come a non friendly URL.

i have just clicked the category on the image and you can see the non friendly url on the url bar at the top of image.

is it possible to contact the developer to let them know the module does not create proper urls?

 

Just at this time I don't advise the redirect method..but that's just me.

Okay, have tried to contact them so lets se what they say. 

Anyone who know how to redirect one url to another through htaccess?

if it's a free module (or not as I have no need for it) email it to me via my shop and I will see if I can fix it.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here so I can't look at it until Friday.
