Slow site - Memcache Config

Hello

 

I am using 1.5.6.0 on a dedicated server, currently my site is very slow, I enabled caching in performance page but there is no documentation how to set it up.

 

I select memcached as caching system but it has no effect on the speed.

 

I added server with ip 127.0.0.1 Port 11211 and weight 1

 

I enabled debug profiling i see lots of statics but there is no info about how to use them.

 

Does anyone use this caching system successfully?

 

For example in a product page i see 

 

SQL Queries: 126 queries 

 

And at bottom 

 

i see 

 

Stopwatch (with SQL_NO_CACHE) (total = 126)

so this means none of queries cached?
