kpham501
I want to be able to do a pricing level based on the entire category. Example: Category A Sub Category B Product1 Sub category C Product2 Product 1 and Product 2 Regular price $1 until qty reaches 100 then it goes to $.75 But If customer wants 50 product 1 and 50 product 2 I want the combinations to count towards the 100 since it's under the same Category A. Can this be done? Same issue if it is Product 1 with combo 1 and combo 2.
NemoPS
You can use catalog price rules, and set a global 25% reduction on those specific categories setting quantity to 100 (cart rules/ catalog price rules)
kpham501
thank you. I got it working.
kpham501
I take that back. I thought it was working. I tried creating a catalog rule under cart rules/catalog price rules but it doesn't seem to work on the test cart. I set it to qty: 250 -5%. I also have another rule set at qty 750 -10% both for the same category.
NemoPS
What do you exactly mean by 'it doesn't seem to work'?
kpham501
I added 340 items of category A into my cart and it did not apply the cart rule. I even went through the whole checkout process to see if it would apply the cart rule before charging the credit card and it did not apply. NemoPS
Can you print screen the catalog rule page?
kpham501
Here's a pdf of the page. I can't screenshot since I run a triple screen. It makes the data too small. Catalog Price Rules 1.pdf
NemoPS
Be sure: 1- the user is in the wholesale group 2- all products have the selected attributes/manufacturer/supplier I'd suggest to remove attributes and suppliers/manufacturers conditions for test purposes, and see if it works without
kpham501
User is in wholesale group. The only attribute is in condition group 1: Category: (3)eLiquid the boxes below are to add additional conditions
kpham501
I got it. I have to add the subcategories not the parent category and it works fine! Thanks for the help!
kpham501
Actually, If you set one cart rule for qty 250 and another for qty 750 does the second rule override the first rule?
