Adding images via WebService

Hello,

 

 

I would like to use the web service to add images to categories and products.

 

However, when I type the following url http://mysite/prestashop/api/images in the browser, it says the following : 

<categories xlink:href="http://mynsite/prest...ages/categories" get="true" put="false" post="false"

 

Does that mean that I cannot add images with the web service? How to set the web service so that it allows me to put and post images?

Have you set your account's access privileges to allow put and post on the Back Office  > Tools > Webservice > Webservice Accounts page?

Yes I have set my web service account to have all the privileges.

 

I can put and post categories and products all right.

In fact I'm not sure it is even possible to upload images with a web service.

 

Is it?

Ok, turns out it works fine even with put="false" and post="false".
