redactuk
How can I get a single entry with name CATEGORIES in this menu? I can get a drop-down called Home but I want it called Categories. I've created a separate entry called Home that points to my home page. I want single drop-dpwn of my whole Category tree. As far as I can see adding Root to menu does nothing, and adding Home gives me what I want but it's called Home when I want it to be called Categories. I'm guessing as it's hard-coded I'm going to have to change a language definition somewhere? Although what I don't want to happen when I do this is for Home root in the Admin area to suddenly be called Categories. Anyone know solution? vekia
go to catalog > categories and then - click on edit button: you will be able to translate name to any other value you want
redactuk
Yes but if I change the name there then everywhere else in the Admin 'Home' now reads 'Categories' - which I don't want e.g. when setting Associations for a product the top of the tree is now called Categories. SURELY it's possible to have a dropdown option called Categories for all categories? I fail to see why it has to be hardcoded to the name Home. NemoPS
Hi! I am afraid there is no other way Or, you can create a main subcategory, call it categories and put all your dropdown categories there No other solution, as custom links cannot have a dropdown!
