[SOLVED]Cart dissappears when products are removed from it

Hiya all i seem to be having a small problem.

 

If i look at a product and click the add to cart button, then the product slides over to the cart just as it is supposed to.

 

BUT if i then click the cross, next to the product in the cart, to delete it then the whole cart dissappears until you refresh the page.

 

Is this an easy fix ??

 

I am using 1.5.3.1

A bit more info on this....i have this hooked into the Right Column and not to Top Of Pages

 

I have just tried this on a test site and it is working fine in standard mode but if i change the hooks from Top Of Pages to Right Column then this dissappears when you delete all products from cart.

 

Now does this mean it HAS to be hooked to the Top Of Pages ?

As i have removed it from the header and only have it in the right column.

To anyone else with this problem i think i have found a solution

 

In modules/blockcart/ajax-cart.js i edited out line 311 to stop the cart sliding up once empty, as i have this in the right column there is no need for it to slide up once empty

 

All seems to be working fine now.
