Tayo
I have set several currencies but I can't find any place (product -> prices) where I can set the prices per currency. Now the default currency is EUR and other currency prices are done via an exchange rate giving unrespectfull prices for other currencies. I thought this would be possible in PS since it should be "multi-currency" but maybe I was wrong or define multi-currency in a different way. I have found several modules offering this (like: http://www.prestatoolbox.com/multi-store-prestashop/56-price-depending-on-the-currency.html) but none seem to support PS 1.5. Does anyone know how to get this working or a module that can do this? Edited November 30, 2013 by Tayo (see edit history)
El Patron
How to solve the 'weird looking converted prices? I wrote a module (the only one like this on the planet). http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/221705-module-prestashop-price-charming-psychological-pricing-x99-xxxx98-x900/
Tayo
This seems like an elegant solution and we will look in to this module. However, just to be clear for anyone looking, this means it is not possible with Prestashop 1.5.5 to set your own prices per currency. You always will have to depend on the exchange rate. Tayo
If this is possible maybe you could tell me where I can do this since I have not been able to find it. When I go to the prices tab for a product there only seems to be field for the default currency (EUR in our case). Where to set the USD and GBP prices? Tayo
Thx, yes, a lot is possible via the Specific prices but for our purposes it does not seem to offer a solution. Setting a price per currency is possible here (I didn't realize the currency would change) but see my other forum post for our dilemma http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/292667-how-set-same-final-retail-price-for-all-customers/?do=findComment&comment=1475749

I've added my two cents to the link provided.
Pronux
In my view "using specific prices" is a workaround which works perfect in that matter. However, am I right, that if a shop owner uses this solution, he is no longer able to specify other "Specific Prices" or "Catalog Price Rules" ?
