VAT for B2B shop

Recommended Posts

I'm preparing an online shop for our clients.

We are a Belgian distributor and sell our goods only to professionals with valid VAT registration in countries Belgium, Netherlands, Germany.

I notice a problem with calculating VAT in some scenario's.

We have the option to choose a different delivery address <> invoice address.

Our exemple between Belgium <> Netherlands country

VAT based on invoice address

delivery in Belgium & invoicing in Belgium = 21% VAT = OK

delivery in Belgium & invoicing in Netherlands = 0% VAT according Prestashop = WRONG

This should be 21% VAT according our federal government economy

delivery in Netherlands & invoicing in Belgium = 21% VAT = OK

delivery in Netherlands & invoicing in Netherlands = 0% VAT = OK

VAT based on delivery address

Can anybody help me where and how I can change this please because it's not correct accoding Belgium VAT law!

In this this is too complex, I would like to calculate VAT 21% always for all clients, but this option is also not available?

Thanks for your soonest support.
