Connot update from 1.5.3.1 to 1.5.6.1

Oneclick hangs on error 35

so now I have uploaded 1.5.6.1 files over working 1.5.3.1 on server, is this ok?

Are there database differences between the two versions?

Ido not have te error code on hand but install/upgradre/upgrade.php also did not work.

Is it feasable to install fresh 1.5.6.1 , import database, template files and images?

I have arrived at a point where all of the new version is in the directory admin/autoupgrade/latest in unzipped form.

All goes well untoil updating files stops with message:

 Forbidden You don't have permission to access Web Server at domainname
