mk1_salami
Hi All, I'd like to add an additional fee at the checkout, which should be 10% on all products in the cart, but not affect the shipping. Does anyone know how to do this? The site will be an auction site, which we'd like to charge buyers a premium in much the same way a real auction would. The buyer wins the auction and that allows them to add it to their shopping cart. At the checkout I'd like to automatically add 10% fee to every product in the shopping cart. I'd also like to offer an insurance service, so a user can tick a box, and an additional line is added to the invoice (not affected by the 10% fee). The additional charge would be a percentage of items in the cart before the 10% buyers premium is charged. Anyone got any bright ideas? So my invoice would look like this: Item 1 £100 Item 2 £50 Item 3 £20 Subtotal: £170 Buyers premium at 10% £17 Insurance at 5% of subtotal (check box) £8.50 Total (subtotal+premium+insurance) £195.

tuk66
What about to use taxes. The 10% premium can be tax. You will display all prices in your shop without taxes and add tax only at the chekout.
mk1_salami
Hi tuk. This is what I have done. We don't pay tax at the moment but will some day in the future. Can I add more than one tax to the same product?
tuk66
Maybe, if you find settings in your shop.
