huge search bar in middle of my page

Hi

I wold like to have a huge searchbar in the middle of my page.

It shold have a different text in it. like the default search has the text "search" in it that disapears by clicking in the searchbox i wold like to change that text to: "Productnr.:"

Does anybody know a adon that allows that?

on this forum..if enough detail given...help is usually super fast so if you are not getting result...look at your original post as if you were one of us, is there enough information to solve/help?  If not then update the original post...and then add new reply that you have updated the original post with more info!....cheers

Thanks El Patron, i will try to explain more clear. The site is offline by now so i can't give access... 

 

So if a cusstomer comes to my website he wants to search for a Car-Type. Because i am selling Wheels to Garageists. They are all Professionals and want to access directly to the right product. So in Europe we have those Governmental Papers where each car is documented and officially legalized. No each Car has a Type number wich i will save as a Tag in the Product. I Tested that already and it works. But the Search field is so small and i can't make it appear in the middle of my Page (i think this is called NamedisplayHome) 

It always displays a error because that Block Quick Search can't be placed in the middle.
