c6bro
Hi all, I'm realy stuck on this one and need some help / advice please. Im developing a site which sells hampers. We list all the individual products which go in the hampers in in 3 seperate categories and can only be found on the site if searched for or shown in a pack product. This enables us to create Hampers (packs) very quickly and show all the individual details of the products in the hamper, like ingredients and weight. This works really well. However I would like to go one step further and offer the customer the option to choose there own items to go in the Hamper. and ideally come through to the backend as one product just like a pack sale does.. Heres an example of what i am trying to achieve . http://www.funkyhampers.com/cmd/byo/build-your-own-hamper.html Hope you can help. VektorSoft
Hi Cris, I spoke an administrator, from the addons marketplace. I showed to her your link. She said, this isn't a modul, it's a template. In the future I will buy a template, and I showed it to her, and said: "don't worry, it's a good template, and can handle it". VektorSoft
Hi Didier, I'm Hungarian... The administrator said, that the solution not an modul but a template. I showed her this template, because I will buy it: http://addons.prestashop.com/demo/FO5512.html And she said, this template can handle as what we see in Chris's link: http://www.funkyhampers.com/cmd/byo/build-your-own-hamper.html
Didoua
Ok, now I understand.anyway, back to the subject, I may have found a solution.I will use the product attributes that offers Prestashop like this:1 - Creating a product package 12 - Give this three or more attributes (to add three different candy for example)3 - In each attributes, offer the customer to choose a candy or anything else.Of course, a drop-down list not being pretty, thanks to various modul we can come up with something beautiful. For example, use this module to display the image of candiesLet's go and adapt your products. but I think the product customization with some modul is not so bad. c6bro
Thanks for your Help Guys. I couldn't find a solution which replicated the example above so I started on a module myself. I'm nearly finished . (Well... I've done all the hard work) Its working fine and well using product attributes and products from specified categories and uses an existing Product as a template. So its full customisable . Will post link once I'm a bit closer..
