Mighty Chin
You've got to be kidding me. Over night and no response. I've done a search on this forum and found no solution.Any Help?
Mighty Chin
WOW! Not one response! No bug fixes for this? No Admins willing to part with some info on the subject? How about a link to another thread with the same problem that I seem unable to find! When I first came upon Prestashop I was blown away by this Cart. It put other to shame IMO. I've used OsCommerce and ZenCart in the past but at least with them when I post a question on their forum I would get a response. Nothing here though! This issue I am having is also a problem in the Module Home Text Editor. I have attached both screencaps for your viewing pleasure. first1
The questions in this forum are responded to by the community. Maybe no one have seen your question or it could be that they dont know the response.I have a feeling that it is something to do with your php settings. Why dont you try and ask your hosting guys for logs and tell them the issue. kineotech
FWIW, I had this problem after moving the site over to another server. The problem was due to the permissions settings on the img folder. It needs to be writable by the http server.Dave G.
Mikess
The problem is finfo_open function in /images.inc.php line 72This function sometimes return different result depends on server configuration.I just commet this function in my script.
bomo
I had the same problem. My solution was to comment these lines in the images.inc.php: // if (!isPicture($file)) // return Tools::displayError('image format not recognized, allowed formats are: .gif, .jpg, .png'); Now it works again.

joenmass
I had the same problem and kineotech (#5) was correct. The img folder has to be writable, mine had a permission of 755. All I had to do was change it to 777 and it worked! Correction: Spoke too soon. Problem still exists. Using two version 1.4.6.2 and 1.4.8.2 both have the same issue.
