claybourg
Yesterday I did a db backup from the BO and it was a few Kb large. When I go to my cpanel the db is a lot larger so I was wondering what Prestashop BO actually backs up and is that useable in case of the db gets destroyed. Carolina Custom Designs
We always recommend to take the DB backup directly in cPanel/phpMyAdmin. Marty Shue
vekia
cPanel usually creates backup of filesystem and database. if I were you, i will use phpMyAdmin as Marty mentioned above. easy in use, files are light (simple .txt files with queries) and with this method you can import database everywhere, also on different servers
claybourg
That's what I've been doing in the past indeed, I was just wondering why that BO tool is not backing up the same thing.
Carolina Custom Designs
I would suggest you keep doing what you have been doing. Marty Shue
