cong2013
Hi, My client want to prozess cc-payments using his POS Terminal = offline CC-Prozessing. Well, there is a module out that stores 8 digits of the buyers cc-card in the database and sends all other informations by EMail to the storeowner. Up to this point it seem to be OK for me. However, the steps from this point on seems to be questionable for me: - merging the CC-Information (how can anyone proof that the information is destroyed afterwards or kept according to PCI-rules somewhere) - aquiring payment by typing CC_Data into the terminal without the cardholder beeing present in the store (I read the contract terms of paylife and they restrict this for prebooking of hotel-rooms and for the deposit renting a car) Maybe Im too faint-hearted but for me this seems to be OK while everything is running fine - however producing a nightmare if something goes wrong - loosing reputation at bank and cc-provider, beeing blacklisted, paying contractual penaltys aso. Whats your opinion on offline CC-Prozessing? Has anyone a working, legal solution for this? Best regards, Christian
