CS Theme Editor not updating main page.

Hello,

 

I am trying to change the background image of my website and it does not seem to be updating when I use CS Theme Editor, which came pre-installed with my theme.  my website is gadzids.com.  If you know why CS Theme Editor keeps glitching please let me know since this is not the first time it's had a problem.   I have had issues with it incorrectly editing the CSS file which made my products display incorrectly.

Please let me know if there is ant more information that is needed.

what is CS theme editor?

it's a module?

You may need to (TEMPORARILY!!): 

- turn OFF your smarty cache and

- 'Template cache' set to "Recompile templates if the files have been updated"

 

in Advanced Parameters->Performance to see the changes.

 

(Don't forget to restore to initial values afterwards!)
