CrystalPhoenix18 Posted November 15, 2013 Share Posted November 15, 2013 I have a live shop in PS 1.4.8 I want to upgrade to 1.5 and install a new theme, but I would like a fresh install (lots of extraneous "stuff" - modules etc on 1.4 site). It will take a while to configure the new shop and test it. What is the best way to keep the live (old) shop running while testing the new shop, then get all the information from the old shop to the new shop once it's ready to go live? I will need at least part of the live database to configure the menu and make sure all product info is in the right place, but since orders may come in and new customers register, I would need the database to be as up to date as possible when the new site goes live.
