Cursor in "Search" (top menu) isn't in the correct position

Hello everyone,

after many tries, i managed to resize my search bar, the little one you have on the top menu (default theme, prestashop 1.5.6.0). Now the size is ok, but the cursor where you start typing to search, instead of being near the left side of the bar, it's about in the middle. Ho can i move the cursor so i can start typing from the left side of the bar (like in a normal bar would happen)?
