[SOLVED] How and where to insert Tracking code for Google Adwords

Hello,

I have looked for this on the forums and have not found it.

Where and how should the Conversion code for Google Adwords be inserted into a shop?

In particular I am generally interested in if it should go into a TPL file or a PHP file.

Also, where in the particular file should it go?

Note this is not for the Analytics code (which has a module in Prestashop). They use different insertion code.

Also, I am not only looking to place it on the confirmation page - I also wish to insert the code in other places as well.

I found out a way to make it work-

You can insert the code into any TPL file - you need to paste it near the top of the code, just underneath this part:

<!--
   var baseDir = '{$base_dir_ssl}';
-->
[script]

Forum blocks inserting the Script function , so they are just represented by "script" above.
(originally I pasted it at the bottom of the code and it did not seem to work)

when i try this i get secure and non secure errors?

I have not seen that - what version of Prestashop are you using and what page have you pasted the code into?
