How to make this:

http://www.mydomain.com/categoryname/ipod.html (without id_product-)

(normal url: http://www.mydomain.com/categoryname/7-ipod.html) (I need without number "7")

I'm also trying configure .htaccess to achieve the perfect clean url's

Category page

http://www.mydomain.com/category-name/

Product page

http://www.mydomain.com/category-name/ipod-8gb/

After experimenting I achieve URL's

http://www.mydomain.com/2/category-name/

http://www.mydomain.com/category-name/5/ipod-8gb/

I realized that ID in the URL is KEY and ONLY ONE parameter to call each page. The URL's working with ID and without category/product name. So ID in the URL is required and cannot be removed from URL. This is PrestaShop developer's issue. They might develop functionality based on generating and save custom static URL with creating new category/product. Then this static URL can calling the page same way as ID.

For PrestaShop team: I thought the ExpressionEngine's (powered this website) URL Title functionality.
