booblebab
How do I disable the WYSIWYG editor that pops up every time I use the home-text editor, or CMS?I just want plain text, I'm aware what it looks like on the site (actually, it shows it incorrectly in the editor - with a black background and different font, but whatever). Radu
there is no magic switch - for cms just open adminDir/tabs/AdminCMS.php and delete/comment the javascript code that is just after:// TinyMCE

Presta-Hoe
Alright cool Is it safe to do this?
Radu
why not? however after upgrading presta you may need to make same things again, so it's wise to document what changes you make to the presta core files, - the files that are not in themes or modules

inweb
There is actually a way. Simply rename one of the following files to something else: js/tinymce.inc.js (PS 1.5) js/tinymce.inc.js (PS 1.4) js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js (PS 1.3)
