sabio
Hi, Why is PS generating links to the suppliers if they are allocated to a product? I understand why customers want to look for manufacturers, but suppliers? That's just stupid and it's for internal use only Can I disable this?Oscar
sabio
Isn't this a major problem?
clint
I have noticed that even when they're turned off the suppliers show up. I have also noticed if you put /1__ (or a different supplier number) onto the domain on any prestashop it shows a list of all products by that suplier. I have redirect 404 on my htaccess while I hunt for a proper solution.

clint
I posted this as a bug on the issue tracker and they said this has been fixed in 1.6. Looks like all 1.5 stores are affected
LineTV
Is there a way to display suppliers logo on the default page?
NemoPS
@LineTv: do you mean something like this? http://nemops.com/brand-logos-prestashop-manufacturers-suppliers/#.U5gRQPna6r0
LineTV
Hello Nemo, Thanks for your help. Yes, that that where the suppliers logos are shown on the homepage. How can I set it up to look like that? Thanks again
NemoPS
Instead of the column? Simply rename hookDisplayLeftColumn to hookDisplayHome, then go through the tutorial. You'll have to hook the module to the homepage from modules->positions in the back office of course
LineTV
@Nemo1 Thanks for your help. I have another unrelated question - Lets say I create multishops on our Prestashop account, and want to display products that are being created on these multi shops on our default (main) website - perhaps on the "New Arrivals" tab. Is that possible, how?
NemoPS
Well you can create a product with 'all shops' selected, and disable it where not necessary. Otherwise, as far as I know it will be 'non existing' in other shops
