Carriers Configuration

Hi,
i am not sure this is bug or i am not able configure correctly.
i installed prestashop 1.2.4.0 (thanks its very simple to install and use).
i tried creating a new Carrier called Door Delivery for time zone Asia
from back-end and also created payment - Currency.
from front-end created a user under country India and tried to check-out
the product, but it says 'There is no carrier available that will deliver to
this address!' i am not able to understand what went wrong - can you please
help me.

Thanks, so i can conclude that the fix is not available for this even in latest version of PrestaShop.
i asked this question past for 1.2.1.0, you suggested to use SVN - but you also said that you will not use it.
if possible can you please guild me to the correct fix/resolution to this issue.

No, I said that if you use the search you would find the info to configure the carrier settings in the right way.

You need to configure
Zones
Price ranges
Weight ranges

Its all under Shipping
