Matt S.
Hey Guys, This isn't necessarily a technical support issue. I just want to know if this is a bug or the way its suppose to function. Whats going on is my prices are showing different when a user is logged in. Rather than what it shows before it gets logged in. 1. My product has a Pre-tax retail price at 3000. Tax rule of 7% and a Specific price deduction of $-701.00. The price that shows to customers that are not logged in is : 2,299.00 - Correct Price The price thats sows when I log in is: $2,344.86 - Not Correct. *The reduced amount shows as: $655.14 *The correct reduced amount is $701.00 ** The issue gets resolved once I put no tax on product. The correct pricing shows for the customer group. I don't get whats wrong? Please help me. http://bit.ly/1gFXvwO - link to the store

benjamin utterback
Hello, can you delete the specific price and make sure that when you create the new specific price, that the Product Price within the specific price generator is correct (in this case it would be 3000) I tested it on the latest version and I did not come across this problem. Matt S.
Hey, Benjamin thank you for the reply. However, that wasn't the issue. I know i don't have the latest version. I wonder if updating would help. However, updating would mean I loose all my custom changes on my theme?
benjamin utterback
Maybe not, maybe you can make a file change and you can stay on your current version. When you upgrade you shouldn't lost the custom changes on your theme. However, be sure to read the upgrade tips post in my signature. Let me see if there's a fix I can grab for you. Make sure to have a backup of your files and then try these fixes, https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/commit/a632965b0d12b679f7c1ed7c10a8cd62a18afe85 https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/commit/3cbd8444d69eff328b378b858855de149ea4a2bd
Matt S.
Making the changes didn't do anything for me. I have also cleared the cache and history. The changes would seem like those were the fixes but it had no effect.
Matt S.
I don't know if this helps but the same issue continues throughout the cart and ordering. When your loggedin the prices are deducated nearly to the tax amount. When there is no Tax on the product. It is fine everywhere Logged in or Not

Matt S.
Figured it out guys. It was the product.js but the reason it didnt work was because of the cached files :/
benjamin utterback
Hi Matt, did you solve the problem by clearing the Smarty Cache, or by changing your cache preferences in your back-office? I'll go ahead and mark this as solved.
Matt S.
Hey Benjamin, I did solve it by upgradin to 1.5.6 and manually editing the Product.js and product.tpl in the custom theme ofcourse I realized it worked after i cleared the cache manually.
