Migrating between same server but different domains

I had to change my web's domain for various reasons.

 

due to my server provider i had 2 domains pointed to to the server.

 

one in /publichtml/

and the other in /publichtml/nameofdomaindirectory

 

so i thought this was as easy as it said in this link

 

http://squirrelhosting.co.uk/hosting-blog/hosting-blog-info.php?id=27

 

I did more or less the same. As the shop will use same database i used the same settings.inc but changing the website name at the top.

 

I also have changed htcaccess file to 777 permissions

 

Now i get a mesage od this page is not available. check it by yourself.

any suggestions, or have i done something wrong?

its not working again. any ideas?

mesage is :

maybe an issue with database?
