mbp
My web hosting company does increase the max_input_vars.Therefore, I can't change the translations in my back office. I can not change hosting solution due to other technical reasons not related to prestashop.Has anyone come up with any workaround to translate anyway or is it just and change direct in all .tpl files? Or maybey there is way to go through phpmyadmin and in to the sql database ? Edited November 13, 2013 by mbp (see edit history)
bellini13
the only other way I have found is to take a complete backup copy of the website, install it locally on your desktop/laptop using WAMP or similar application. Then on the duplicate site, increase your max input var and update your translations and export them. Then you could try to import them back into your live store. mbp
THX For your solution. I did fid another way that worked for me: In my FTP root folder i was able to edit the .htaccess and add php_value max_input_vars 2000 so now it works!
