El Patron
here is an 'improvement' of the native PS browser language detect. http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-10876 I tested this (remarked on the forge report). It did however fix for problem where 'en' was being used and not en-GB | en-US. I could set browser lang to en-GB and the shop would detect it as well as en-US. cool -note: it does not appear to sort/look by priority the browser language settings and that it only looks at the first language passed in HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-10876 happy localizing
El Patron
hey for all you localization freaks, I finally wrote advanced ietf language detect. this extends ps basic (i.e. only checks for 1st browser lanague and if not defined in your shop then sets default language) The module will look at all (sorted by order of visitor preference) other languages. so now supports scenario (I prefer Danish but would also accept English), can match same language different country codeexample: en-us en-uk as well.
