How to fix this ?

Hello all,


In the back-office in home you can see the statistics of your webshop and also how many customers are online.
But the problem that i have is that if someone has visited the site and then leave the site then the" visitors now online" will not clearup the trace but remains there so every time someone visit the site the visitor now online increase and keeps increasing.
See the attached picture.
I have changed in init.php the protocol=http:// to https:// could this cause this problem ??
I had to change this setting otherwise ssl and stock don`t work.

Hope someone have a solution for this problem.
