rxsy2002
Hi, I really need help in migrating my prestashop from existing hosting to a new hosting and a new domain. There is not tutorial on this matter. Issue 1: After i have transfer all my files on public_html directory of my existing hosting to a new hosting. I have also restored my sql database to the new hosting site. i even changed the config file to reflect my new database name. When i try to access my new domain site, i have the following error: Error: "install" directory is missing Issue 2: I cannot log in to my shop back office of the new domain using the same id and password i used for my existing domain. How do i log in to my prestashop back office as the password is tie to the email address i registered with? Appreciate anyone to help me in these matters. rxsy2002
i am using ps1.5. Now i am able to login after inMotion hosting restore my site. However, i have another issue. Prestashop request me to login everytime i click on drop down menu (products, shipping etc) in admin page after i am logged in to my admin page. Is this due to the fact that i have the same login details for my new domain site and my old domain site? This issue occur after i have transfered my shop from 1 domain to another domain. rxsy2002
Disabling the option "Check the IP address on the cookie" in preferences resolved the issue of auto log out of admin page for me. Swee Hing
