Managing Product Features

I am using the default template that comes with Prestashop. Here is what I would like to do in product features.

 

1. My products typically come in more than one color.

2. I take three photos of each product for each color. (e.g. 3 colors = 9 photos)

3. When the customor is browsing, I want them to be able to make a simple choice (like a dropdown menu or color palate), of the color they are interested in looking at. This would then prioritize the 3 photos of that color for display.

 

Under the product features tab, I am unable to do this (or at least I do not know how to do it.) I can assign features and predetermined values. However, these appear as a list under a data sheet tab in the more info section toward the bottom of the listing.

 

Color probably is the most important feature of my product. I need to be able to feature it in a better way. I have combed through the Prestashop addons page but have not been able to identify an addon that expands product features and links specific images to specific features, such as color. Does anyone have suggestions?
