Display specific prices in layered navigation

I'm using the price filter in the Layered Navigation module, and it seems to examine all the prices and automatically generate the price ranges to display when I display the filter using list of prices.

 

Is there any way I can set my own price ranges rather than letting the Layered Navigation module choose them? For example, Layered navigation might display the following:

 

• - From 469 $ to 776 $
• - From 776 $ to 1084 $
• - From 1084 $ to 1391 $
• - From 1391 $ to 1699 $

 

But what if I want this instead?

 

• - From 400 $ to 700 $
• - From 701 $ to 1000 $
• - From 1001 $ to 1400 $
• - From 1401 $ to 1700 $
