[solved ]domain.com/index.php works but not domain.com

Hi guys,

 

I have a problem, after instaling prestashop 1,5 my page works just with domain.com/index.php but not with domain.com. Could you help me please?

Regenerating .htacces didn't helped,

Advanced Parameters  Configuration Information  View   Shop URL shows correct address,
Host admin menu also shows correct address.

try this,

 

edit your .htaccess file

add (at the  top)

DirectoryIndex index.php

it is however better to update your httpd.conf for security and performance reasons...contact you hosting company if you are not sure how to do this.

Yes, I added the DirectoryIndex index.php line at the top and it works now. But if you say that it's better do some updates with httpd.conf which I don't know how than it's better contact my host. Unless it's not that difficult.

yes, follow up with your host and if they can make that change then delete the line from .htaccess
