Full header and top menu, but can´t move menu links to the right

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys.

I really hope someone can help me with something that has been driving me nuts.

I have read through all the threads related to this issue, but for some reason it doesn´t quite work for me.

I want to have a full width header and menu, but want the menu to stay with the 980px grid_9. Like on the google analytics front page.

I have found a workaround, full width header and menu using left:50%; and then left-margin: - or + (xx)px, but it doesn´t work with the menu links. I can do 50%, but when I go to do -490px (50% of 980px :-)) the the links just get piled on top of each other.

I have tried everything the new method, the old one and the one from arcnart. I have used the arcnart for the black top part, and the new method to get full width header and menu, but I can´t get the one the Vekia helped Olivereggertsen with to work.

Where he suggets inserting

<div style="display: block; width: 100%; background: #B7CEEC; clear: both; overflow: hidden; ">

topmenu.tpl

and changing superfish a bit.

I hope You can help.
