wearCA
so i moved my site from go daddy to hostgator.. (presta 1.5) at first all the sale prices were wrong, so i replaced the product.js file with the original one and it reset them all to not on sale. i am using paypalusa for checkout. i can place an order and it goes through to the paypal page, and paypal takes the payment, but i am not getting any notifications of it in my stores backend and the order confirmation email from my store is not sending out. any ideas what needs to be updated? thanks
NemoPS
Are you taken back to your site after the paypal payment?
wearCA
hi Nemo no, it stays on the paypal page telling me my payment has been sent, and gives me an option to click a link to "return to my store..." if i click the link it goes to "my order history" page telling me "you have not placed any orders" it does look like the inventory goes down for the test purchase product. and i do get confirmation from paypal that the money was sent. NemoPS
Are you using an upgraded store? If so, try and get the latest package from the prestashop website, and copy over the whole controllers and classes folders
vekia
also try to rebuild class_index file located in /cache/ directory, in some cases with "missing" class it helps
bugmapper
This is a brand new install of prestashop, and a clean install of the template, with no data in the database, just one store item to purchase and one customer from the same country as the store. I replaced the controllers and classes folders from a fresh download of prestashop - no effect.

bugmapper
Hmmm.... just installed the European version of PayPal module (3.6.2) and it seems to work fine - even with IPN turned off at PayPal. More testing to do to confirm European module is fully functioning, but the USA,Canada,Mexico Paypal module has never worked and I've been trying to get it to work for weeks. Is it possible I have a European flavour of prestashop?
El Patron
when moving to a new hosting environment it's best to download your version of prestashop and then install on the new hosting. This allows prestashop to tell you if there are any problems with the hosting. not doing this can cause lot's of 'strange' behavior by moved shop. you can check ps and hosting compatibility, after the fact from the back office. http://screencast.com/t/sRspYCXpTtir A better way is to create a subdomain (or any test url) and db and installing your version of prestashop from scratch to make sure it will run properly. You can find all versions of prestashop here http://code.google.com/p/prestashop/downloads/list
tdelios
Hi All.. I'm having the exact same problem and I have a clean install. Absolutely no transferring of my shop from one site to another.. all configured from scratch directly on my domain and web hosting company... any input would be great!
