Burner50
Since I have created my shop, I have yet to get Paypal to work properly. I created a new store using Prestashop 1.5.5.0 I installed the Paypal USA, Canada module from Prestashop Add-Ons. I have updated the Paypal module to 1.2.6. I have a paypal Merchant account, NOT using Paypal Pro. I configured the API as found in my paypal account using Paypal Payments Standard. When a customer orders something, The payment is made into my paypal account, so I'm certain that the API Credentials are correct, but the order is not created in the back office. I have duplicated this using Sandbox mode. In fact, I have not been able to get it to work properly one time. There are no errors presented to the customer and no errors found in my error logs. I have verified my IPN address as being correct in my Paypal account. Upon reviewing my IPN history on Paypal, it shows the transaction as "Completed". sandya
Hi, I have had the same issue and I read somewhere in the forum that it might be related to your mail alerts module interfering with Paypal. My problem is sporadic so for now, I tested changing mail from PHP to SMTP (in advanced parameters/e-mail). Also, make sure that your version of the mail alerts module is the latest - the BO does not prompt you to upgrade it. The latest version is 2.5. For now, this seems to make it better. Still waiting to see if it will miss some orders here and there. Hope this helps !
Burner50
I installed the mail alerts module (It installed 2.4), and I changed mail from PHP to SMTP, and I still cannot complete an order. I'm about 48 hours from ditching prestashop. Edited November 8, 2013 by Burner50 (see edit history)
sandya
For me, the mail alerts module seemed to actually be the problem as it interfered with Paypal once an order was made. Do you have other modules installed whose function could interfere? Some other member reported the Ebay module as a problem. If you do have it, try to disable it and test. Sorry but that's all I came across. Good luck.
