darialitchi
We are considering to use Prestashop for a new website. It should be ready to sell items (food and beverage) in the near future, but for now it should go online only with a few pages about the brand, a contact page and some general info about what kind of items will be available through this website. We don't want to have two websites, one for the brand and another one for the e-commerce. We know that it's possible to temporarily disable shop, but it seems that this solution hides completely the website. We would like to keep the site and the "non-commercial" contents visible, and hide for a while the e-commerce. Is it possible? Sorry for my english, I hope the description is clear enough. darialitchi
It seems that my topic is probably too abstract to receive any feedback. In other words, I would like to know if it's possible to have a prestashop website without the shop. Only pages with informative contents but no items to buy (for a while). When we will be ready to start selling, then we will show e-commerce functions.
vekia
1) just disable all modules related to catalog / products, 2) turn on catalog mode then no products will be visible no categories only cms pages
