Catalog price rule dont work properly for goups whith specific prices

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a special group of customers that have a specific price per product.
Additionally I want to offer a quantity discount.
It seems appropriate to use the catalog price rules for this purpose.
Eg:
+10 Products = 5% discount
After setting the discount I get the result shown in the following image.

The discount is only enabled for the group that I want but the calculation is made on the price for the customer default.
This function will be incompatible with the specific price?
How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance

This is a huge issue. It's caused me a massive headache trying to prepare for holiday pricing. Any product that has a "specific price" is completely unaffected by a price rule, regardless of it's percentage or amount.

I think this would be interesting to pose (bug report) to PrestaShop team.  They are very good at addressing these sort of issues.

Thank you for your answers

I've been a little busy but now I will return to this subject.
I had already tried to change the priorities of calculation of the price but without success.
Now I followed the suggestion of El Patron and created a report in forge to see if I can find a solution.

You can follow it on the link below

Just found same issue.

A single product within a category applied discount at required number. Using another product from same category did NOT apply the rule.

In my case...

Category A:Product A > 5 - rule applies

Category A:Product B > 5 - rule applies

Product A >= 5 AND Product B < 5 gives discount ONLY on Product A.

Product A < 5 AND Product B < 5 gives NO discount.

Product A < 5 AND Product B >= 5 gives discount ONLY on Product B.

As you'd expect from above and is the only way it works properly....

Product A >= 5 AND Product B >= 5 gives discount on Product A and Product B. Yippee :)

EDIT: Yikes - had 2 topics up - posted in wrong thread. Sorrrrryy...... :( (Mod delete?)
