T_Gu3
Hi Guys, One of the users on our site (v1.5.6.0) came across this error when testing. They were attempting to add three of the same item to the cart which was already holding products when they got the following in a pop up: Impossible to add the product to the cart textStatus:'parsererror errorThrown:'SyntaxError: Unexpected token <' responseText: see attached image for full response . I tried to replicate the error but have not been able to as of yet Has anyone experienced this or have an idea on how to ensure it doesn't occur again? Thanks
El Patron
check this-->back office-->preferences--seo & urls scroll down to shop domain names Change the domains names so they do not have the 'www' and retest. When I visited your site I get the domain url without the 'www'. In your error message I see the domain name with the 'www'

T_Gu3
check this-->back office-->preferences--seo & urls scroll down to shop domain names Change the domains names so they do not have the 'www' and retest. When I visited your site I get the domain url without the 'www'. In your error message I see the domain name with the 'www' Thanks for your response. Sorry I forgot to mention that our instance of PrestaShop is a multistore configuration so I couldn't see anywhere to remove the 'www' at Preferences-->SEO & URLs only at Advanced Parameters-->Multistore. I attached an image showing what I've done, is this correct?
El Patron
edit enabled shop, id 5, and add the www to the url. also you should turn off errors as this can cause unpredictable results with cart... btw: nice shop!
shreddinstuds
Hi, I am having the same error. I tried removing the www. in the SEO part of preferences but did not seem to help. I tried adding multiple different products as both a guest, a registered user, and on the mobile site but all popped up with impossible to add product to the cart. However when you check the abandoned shopping carts, they show up as being added. My domain is shreddinstuds.com. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! itsfeistygurl
Hi: A user mentioned, "also you should turn off errors as this can cause unpredictable results with cart..." How do you do this? My shop is on version 1.5.6.0 and adding items to the cart using a mobile phone fails with the error: We're sorry, but the Web address you've entered is no longer available. To find a product, please type its name in the field below.
