[Job] Email bugs in "Mail Alert" and "order_conf" mail to customer

Hi there,

My shop has problems with some emails being sent;

1 - I'm not getting an email from the module Mail Alert when someone placed an order. It also seems to be not sending an email when people want to receive an update when item is re-stocked.

2 - Customer is not receiving order_conf email template after order has been placed.

I've tried receiving support from this forum, but no luck just yet. As it's a live shop, especially the first problem is currently very annoying since I don't know when orders are coming in, and I sometimes forget to check manually.

Offer: €50,- for both problems solved, or €30 for the first one, and €20 for the second one.

I sincerely hope someone can help me.

Regards,

Dave

Hello,

Are those the only e-mails that your customers and you are not getting? If all the e-mails of your web store is not sending, we would recommend you to contact your hosting company. If not, we are sending our contact information via PM to take a closer look.

Also, you can configure the SMTP information in your PrestaShop, by:

  • PrestaShop version 1.5.x
  1. Access the control panel of your PrestaShop
  2. Open the tab "Advanced Parameters > E-mail"
  • PrestaShop version 1.4.x
  1. Access the control panel of your PrestaShop
  2. Open the tab "Preferences > E-mail"

After accessing this page:

OBS: Before change any configuration, you can try to send a test e-mail. It is available in the bottom of the page.

  1. Select the option "Set my own SMTP parameters. For advanced users ONLY"
  2. "Mail domain name" you enter your web store domain (ex: yourstore.com)
  3. "SMTP server", "SMTP user" (normally is your e-mail address. Ex. [email protected]), "SMTP password" (e-mail address password), "Encryption", and "port" (default 25) you must contact your hosting company to retrieve the correct information

Let us know the results.

Best Regards,

Vitor de Souza Support Team
