puffdade
Hi Guys I'm a little stuck on this one The scenario is this When a customer purchases a certain product from my shop they get a free accessory I want to be able to give that customer a choice of accessories from a drop down list of say 10 items is this possible. I'm currently going through the situation of letting the customer use the notes section in the checkout to add what they require for their free gift, this is a workable solution but if I forget to deduct manually from the stock it messes my stock levels up. is this possible ? Thanks in advance guys I'm currently running 1.5.4.
puffdade
Ok I used the combo generator to establish the variants and Presta has now added drop down boxes for the customer to choose from those variants EG: Colour, Size, long, short that's perfect but its given me a bigger headache that no amount of tinkering I do seems to fix. its now added the initial stock value multiplied by the number of variants to the stock levels from the back office stats, its showing I have hundreds of units for sale when I have just a few but with different combos, can anyone help me on this, it also make it look like I have thousands in value stock wise The system also sent me a over 1000 emails asking telling me the stock levels were low lol Edited October 28, 2013 by puffdade (see edit history)
