chiringo
Hi! I'm noobie in Prestashop but I know some of coding (CSS and HTML). I have 1.5.5.0 version of Prestashop and I have downloaded free theme. I have made some of editing of the code and things seems to work quite well now but I have one big issue. I'm not sure is it about my prestashop, theme or my skills? (Probably me or all in together). The website isn't ready yet but you can go to look it if it helps you to get the idea want's wrong: http://www.chiringobynanaya.com/prestashop So the mistake is the header and footer CMS links. You can't see it fully but they aren't responding well. I can't edit, rename or delete them. But for some reason if i create one new CMS page and it's ID number happens to be the same what is meant to be in one of the links then the CMS link will show the new pages text. That's why I guess it has something about ID numbers and haven't fully removed or made CMS pages and it's links when the shop was first time installed. I haven't done any upgrading, so that can't be the reason. If you look closely the links (eg. on the footer ) and go to eg. Terms and conditions you will see that the title of the page isn't the one what was on the link. It's named Payment. The payment name and the text below it are the ones that I made when I created new CMS page but for some reason it shows in wrong link and top of that if the new CMS page doesn't have any ID of the links in the footer or header it won't be seen at all. I can only see them if I go to Sitemap-page. I have checked that I have installed, configured and enabled all the modules that should be used: (TM Footer links, TM banner block, TM Header links) Please! Save me from this! I have read all of Prestashop's Usermanual and looked around!
chiringo
Phew... I finally found the way to gix this even when I haven't got help. For short I still don't know why the files aren't responding well but I can fix the ID and naming problems when I fix tmfooterlinks.tpl which is in prestashop/modules/tmfooterlinks It seems at least in my free layout that these problems can be fixed from other files too but this makes all footer links change. Now i need to fix the header links too but I guess I won't have problems 'cause it's made in same way. Moderator can now delete or rename this if wanted (because I don't know how to do it :'D sorry)
