I have added several languages:

Localization separator_breadcrumb.png Languages

What is happening is, when we click on any of the languages, it wipes off my WizNav Modules Header titles.  They disappear totally.  With an invisible header, the customer cannot go anywhere. 

 

Also any content entered on CMS pages or product descriptions is not translated, it remains in English.

 

Any helpful tips on this?

1) you need to configure this menu in back office.

2) to edit cms translations, open preferences > CMS tab and edit each of the CMS pages. you will be able to define translations for languages there

3) the same for product descriptions, open catalog > Products and edit products, you will be able to define translations there

Since data is coming from WizNav  module.

So If your module has multi language fields then you can add data for all languages 

otherwise you can translate as vekia suggested.

And for CMS pages and Products we have a flag next to text/textarea fields. we can change language by selecting flag from here.

So here we can add data for different languages while creating/editing product/cmspage

I will add the highlighted code you suggested.  

 

With regard to the CMS/Products, am I understanding correctly that I click a flag and save, then go in again for the next language, click a flag and save until all have been "defined"?

click on selected flag you want to translate, then you will be able to define translation

you don't have to click save all the time, just define all translations and then - hit save :)

Well, I went to Localization > Translations > Modify Translations > Installed Module Translations, click on ANY flag, and I get this
