kool-wind Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 Hello everybody! I have just upgraded the test version of my site to 1.5.6.0. (My live site is running 1.5.1.0) The problem I’ve encountered is that “There is no carrier available for this address”. I am in France so it’s in French, but that is more or less what the customer sees when he’s trying to check out. The result of this is that the shipping (although there isn’t any) is free, and there is no payment option (so I can’t verify that either). I’ve read all similar posts on this subject but have been unable to find any relevant answers. Everything appears to be configured correctly and I’ve looked at the database, but all of that seems fine. I would be very grateful for any help with this. PascalVG Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Hi Kool-wind, Check a few things: - Do you use Advanced Stock management? Then carriers must be coupled to the warehouses as well, otherwise the carriers cannot be used/found. - Check if France is in a zone, and the country and zone are active. Then check if the Carrier uses that zone. - Do you use weight based shipping? Then check if the weight of the products you buy fitted inside any range you defined. Also check if "Out-of-range- behaviour" is set to "Apply the cost of the highest defined range" just in case it falls outside. - Do the same with any priced based carriers - (Double check if the carrier is set to active :-) ) - Check if the currency used and the country (France) is not restricted for the payment method used (Modules->payment, scroll down a little). (N.B. When changing things here, press the save buttons directly under each part separately!) I'll try to think of anything else... jasmynn Posted November 24, 2013 Share Posted November 24, 2013 I am having the same problem. My customers are not being charged for shipping because it tells them no carriers to choose from.
