Change Manufacturer to Brand

Is there a way I can change the Manufacturer Label to read Brand instead?

Is there a language file that controls this site wide?

Back Office >> Tools >> Translations
look for all "manufactures" change to "Brand"

In the translations area select from the drop down module translations, theme and language and click Modify.

Expand the list. Then Ctrl F to search the instances of Manufacture on the left side list and put Brand on the right side list.

I found two sections related to Manufacturer List 

 

 MANUFACTURER-LIST - 11 EXPRESSIONS 1 MISSING  MANUFACTURER - 3 EXPRESSIONS 

 

I can't change the left side content but edited Brands in the right side. unable to upload screen shot but hope you understand and guide me.

When you go to the translations be sure to select module translations (I think is called Installed Module Translations) as well as theme and language. There should be maybe 30 mentions of Manufacturer.

The list on the left cannot be changed. It is what you currently see in your store. The list on the right is what you want it to be in your store.

while i am trying to modify installed modules translation I am getting error warning from hosting provider. 

 

can you suggest me where I can found the translation files to edit manually 

 

 

Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form
1000 for max_input_vars.
Please ask your hosting provider to increase this limit to 3257 at least, or you will have to edit the translation files.

Yes, it's a common issue. You need to increase the value of max_input_vars in your php.ini file on your server. I have mine set on 4000
