creativity_spain Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 Our company sells Christmas hampers which we deliver only here in Spain but we want to be able to accept orders from other countries (eg someone in UK ordering as a gift for delivery to their family who live in Spain). If I disable deliveries to all countries except Spain, it appears that Spain is the only country option in the dropdown list for registration as well. This is the same for guest checkout or account creation where the box for "Please use another address for invoice" is checked, which of course it would be if the person who is placing the order is in the UK for example. This used to work OK in previous versions of Prestashop but I have just updated to the latest version 1.5.6 and can't seem to get it function properly this time. I've tried various permutations of zones and countries including creating a zone called Spain but no luck. I hope I'm missing something obvious and there is an easy solution! tomerg3 Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 Try doing this: 1) Create a new Zone ("OnlySpain"). 2) Edit "Spain" (the country) and assign it to the new Zone (OnlySpain). 3) If there are any States assign to "Spain" (the country), edit them and assign to the new Zone (OnlySpain). 4) Create a new carrier for the new zone, and assign rates. On the "Countries" page if I tick Yes for "Restrict country selections in Front Office to those covered by active carriers" then I only have Spain in the dropdown country list for delivery address (which is great, just what I want) but also only Spain shows in the invoice address section. If I tick No, then all the countries appear in the dropdown list in both sections but it is not until you click Save after completing Delivery and Invoice details that you get the warning "No carriers available for this address" if you have entered a country other than Spain and even worse, the delivery charge changes to "Free Shipping!" Perhaps I'm expecting too much but I would have liked for only Spain to show in the country dropdown list in the Delivery Address section and all countries to show in the Invoice Address section.... And I know it worked in previous versions because this is the fourth Christmas we have the promotion and I just thought it would be good to upgrade to the latest version.
