awmawm
I added the following to the forge ticket system but I am wondering whether other users of the multistore feature have faced the same issue and whether they were able to rectify it: I use PS 1.5.6. in multi-store mode. The server sits in the U.S. and the original store is a U.S. store. I set up multistore, added all the language and currency packs (for Switzerland in this case for store #2) and changed the default currency and units of measure for store #2. I enabled the zones and the countries for store #2 to allow shipment to addresses in Switzerland. I then set up a carrier for use in Switzerland, allowed it for all groups, Europe and Europe (out E.U.) and enabled it for store #2. Yet, if a Swiss customer wants to check out, he/she will get the "no carriers available" error. Again, I double and triple-checked the settings in Localization, Zones and Countries and made sure that the countries, zones and carrier are all enabled. I do not know whether this is causing the issue but despite setting the default currency to CHF, the shipping rate rule table in the carrier setup displays $ rather than CHF even though I set the default currency to CHF. Along the same lines, the units of measure in the carrier setup are based on the U.S. shop, i.e. not using the metric system despite having set the default in localization to the metric system for this shop #2. This is extremely frustrating since it makes store #2 completely unusable.
benjamin utterback
Hi awmawn, I would need a way to reproduce this issue. Can you tell me in steps what you have done? I can then determine if it's the correct settings and how I could help.
awmawm
Hi Benjamin, Here are the screenshots of the settings
benjamin utterback
Did you upload the localization pack or added it manually?
awmawm
I imported the complete localization pack for Switzerland under the menu option "Localization". No separate manual upload other than the translation module included in a premium theme.

Pearl Honey
Managing Multiple Shops.. One of the main features of PrestaShop 1.5 is called "multistore", meaning the ability to manage multiple shops from the same back-office. Thanks to this feature, you can manage many customized shops, which share many common elements. For more efficiency, you can even create groups of shops. archetypevaportanks
Hello, I am having pretty much the same issue, with the no carrier available message as well. I have done a lot that I have found in the forum. like going to the Warehouse tab under the stock tab and selecting carriers, which seemed to work for others. But not for my store. If someone could help me the url I am working on is www.archetypevaportanks.com/store If you could take a look see if you can find a solution. I have gone every which way trying to figure this out. Had it working a couple of weeks ago.
kalokki
"Had it working a couple of weeks ago." So what you have done after that?, do you have update your Prestashop? or add some new Modules?
archetypevaportanks
@kalokki, yes I had not checked it because I was a bit busy, I came back to it and noticed all kinds of updates were available and my site wasn't working. so I did what I thought were nessacary like paypal and usps modules. then I had to reconfigure them and now they are working but get that message that will not allow the customer to complete the transaction without using paypal express. kalokki
"without using paypal express" Well, do you use also something else payment system than PayPal?, because seem to me that shop see only PayPal and don't let you complete, because no another way to pay. Do you want that they can complete without PayPal? if so then you have put some other option to pay (Cash/Bank transfer/Skrill). Maybe have to do this in PayPal and another Payment systems: Go Modules -> PayPal and click Reset (This will restore the module's settings to their defaults). Then put again your PayPal API Credential and try again use your shop.
archetypevaportanks
its not necessarily paypal, I am getting the no carriers available message before the payment tab.
kalokki
I just visited your site to see myself and make test account that you can remove. No I see that error... And do this one more time and check if help: Stock > Warehouses Click Edit your Warehouse Click Carriers Box your Carrier like Post, then Save (Because, when you see it there, is not not yet selected, you have to clicked and then saved and only this way is really selected!!) archetypevaportanks
@Kalokki, I have done just as you said because I believe I seen a couple of posts with the same answer. Doesn't seem to want to work for me.
kalokki
usps module..if you remove this and just put normal post service carrier and accept in Warehouse, then if you still see error, then something weird in the shop, if you not see errors, then we know that problem is usps module! and start to see where is real problem. What version is your Prestashop?
