Are these things possible in Prestashop?

Hi 

 

I'm fairly new to prestashop and have managed to get started. However my client now comes back with lots of request and I don't know if it's just not possible in the template I use or the prestashop system itself?

They basically want the manufacturers/brands on the horizontal top navigation but as subnavigation they want the categories such as Make-up under each brand and only show products of this category AND brand underneath the subnavigation items.

 

For example

 

Brand

1st level Navigation

• 2nd Level Navigation

 

 

Benecos

 Make Up

•   Natural Foundation

•   Natural Concealer

•   Natural Face Powder

•   Natural Eyebrow Pencil

•   Natural Make-Up Brushes

•   Natural Eyeshadow

•   Natural Eyeliner

•   Natural Mascara

•   Natural Lip Gloss

•   Natural Lipstick

•   Natural Lip balm

•   Accessories

  

Natural Nails

 

•   Natural Nail Polish

•   Natural Nail Care Pen

 

Does anyone know if that's possible in prestashop at all and it's just the template that doesn't support that?. If so how can I do that??

by default it isn't possible. you can do it with some modification of top horizontal menu like this one: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/76187-solved-top-horizontal-menu-listing-manufacturers/

 

but in my opinion it will be much easier if you will use some other menu module like advanced top menu (you can do everything with this module! it's awesome)
