Highlight one of the combination into the product page in another block

Sorry for the poor english

I would like to highlight one attribute/combination for the product in another block in the product page

For example , i like to promote the 16GB iPod nano, so i make a extra block with add to cart below the exact product. I have search and develop some ways in the product.tpl.. But it doesn't work

Is it possible to implement it?

Like this module i mean the layout , but seems it is too outdated
